Hospital Bag Must Haves

We asked our fit4baby moms and newly postpartum moms what every mom should REALLY have when she heads to the hospital (+ what she should leave home!), and here are the top 5 hospital bag must haves....

Fit4Baby...SO much more than just an amazing prenatal workout.

Pregnancy is such an exciting time, but it’s also a time full of wonder, anxiety, aches and pains and “what-if’s.” It’s a time that you need support and sometimes we as moms (or first time moms-to-be) find it hard to ask for the support that we need. Then add a pandemic on top of everything else...and geeze! Now what?! Now you’re not even supposed to be around the people who may have been the ones offering you this support!

Our goal at Fit4Mom is to offer our prenatal mamas the support they need through a virtual Fit4Baby program and community. This means building strength through our pregnancy safe workouts, comfort through our group chats and knowing that you’re not alone in this, connection to baby during our mindful meditations at the end of each class, knowledge through our expert guest speakers and support through our private Facebook group and instructors who are there for you 24/7!

This program is designed for YOU! We want to know what our Mamas want to know! A few sessions ago, due to popular demand, we started a “what’s in your hospital bag” discussion...or rather…”what SHOULD be in your hospital bag?!" We all remember the first time around, following some random 3 page checklist from a birthing class or Pinterest and going to the hospital with a bag packed with enough to last us a 2 week European vacation. No? Just me?! And then half of the stuff didn’t even make it out of the bag. And oh yea, I forgot my hairbrush AND my conditioner! We realized it was time to put together a “what you REALLY need to bring to the hospital” list.

We had a group discussion during one of our session chats, and then we also reached out to all of our Mama experts in Our Village, and viola! Here you have it ladies...the must haves. We are so confident in our list, that if it’s not on the list, you can leave it at home...And then if you do end up needing it...let me know and I’ll bring it to you…(IF the hospital lets me in 😆).
