June 2020-MOM Motivating Mom of the Month

We are so excited to announce our MOM (Motivating Mom of the Month) for June! Each month we will take a moment to honor one of our local FIT4MOM Montgomery County Moms for her efforts to lead a healthy lifestyle and for her dedication to the program. This month we honor.... Camille Soleimani!

I’m so thankful I’ve been able to work so closely with Camille over the last few years. She is one committed mama, giving it everything she had in multiple Transformation sessions all while teaching full time and giving her best to her family. Her positive energy fills the classes she is a part of and I can’t wait to be back in class with her one of these days. ~ Instructor Katie H.

Strong, determined and committed mama ! I loved having her in morning Body Back classes ! Her energy and smile was contagious! ~ Instructor Ewa

We asked Camille a few questions so we can all get to know her better, and here is what she had to say:

Who are the members of your family?

The Soleimani crew includes me, my husband Shahram and our 2 ½ year old daughter Annabella.

What is/was your career?

I am a preschool special education teacher for MCPS. I teach the PEP 5 Hour class!

When was your first class, and what do you remember about it?

My first class was in July of 2018. I started with Body Back at RIo with Katie Delaney. My first class was a traveling class and we ran all over RIo to complete the different HITT exercises. I remember all the mamas being so welcoming and so supportive. I love the format of the body back classes- question of the day during warm up, workout and meditation at the end. After that class, I immediately signed up for the next transformation session!

Where can we find you? What is your FIT4MOM routine these days?

Before the lovely quarantine you could find me at Clarksburg, Rio and once in a while Lakelands. Currently during quarantine I have been enjoying the flexibility of the online virtual classes. Just like all other mamas, my schedule completely changed and having the ability to get a workout in at any time of day has been a true life saver! I am excited to see there is a new outdoor option at Rio with Ewa and once online teaching is over for the year, I hope I can snag a spot!

What is your favorite strides exercise?

Wall sits with bubbles :)

What has being a mom taught you?

Motherhood is unpredictable! You may think you have a plan (hello to the teacher in me), but your kids will have a plan of their own and you just have to lean in and embrace the craziness!

List 3 of your favorite things.

Coffee, Wine and Bravo

Give us a giggle- What is your funniest or most embarrassing mommy moment so far?

Here’s a funny- My husband and I call each other “babe” and recently Annabella has been referring to us as babe too!

Any advice for other moms out there?

Be easy on yourself and give yourself a lot of grace. You are the best mom for your baby!

What would you tell someone who is considering attending their first #fit4mommoco class?

Do it! Finding Fit4Mom was the best thing that happened for me after having Annabella. Through the transformation sessions I was able to focus more on myself and find my way back to living a healthy lifestyle. They have so many class formats to fit whatever stage of motherhood you are in. I have met so many amazing mamas and they have supported me with great tips, tricks and advice on motherhood. The energy from the other mamas during workouts is incredible, I always leave class with a smile on my face. This is a wonderful village and I am so grateful to be a part of it!

Thank you, Camille for being such a valuable part of Our Village here at FIT4MOM Montgomery County! We truly appreciate you & the positive energy you bring to class and Our Village!

Check back to see who our MOM will be in July!
